This page explains our policies regarding information handling when you use the Scroll the Volume app on macOS, iPhone, and Apple Watch.
Scroll the Volume does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or personal data for us or for third parties.
The app does not send your data to our servers. It is designed to work between your own devices. When you use the remote volume control feature, the Mac, iPhone, and Apple Watch may communicate over your local network and through Apple's device-to-device frameworks so that your paired devices can control your Mac's volume.
This communication is used only to discover your Mac, complete pairing, maintain the trusted connection between your devices, and relay volume commands between devices that you own and have paired.
Scroll the Volume stores some information locally on your devices in order to function properly. This may include app preferences, remembered device information, pairing state, and secure remote-control credentials. Secure pairing information may be stored using Apple's Keychain services.
This information stays on your devices and is not uploaded to our servers.
If you purchase or restore a subscription or lifetime unlock, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card information.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertising companies or third-party analytics providers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app updates or legal requirements. The latest version will be published on this page.
